  112. Papers and the Constitution of the United States, and is offered as
  113. freeware to the Newton community only as a demonstration of the
  114. capabilities of the Newton=81 and Angel Island Technologies. The package wil=

  117. your RAM card, download this package.

  119. The Federalist Papers were written and printed from October 1787 until May
  120. 1788 to counter arguments of Antifederalists against ratification of the
  121. Constitution of 1787. Alexander Hamilton was the originator and author of
  122. fifty-one essays, James Madison wrote twenty-six essays and John Jay wrote
  123. five essays. When the essays were published in The Independent Journal and
  124. other New York newspapers, they were attributed to "Publius", referring to
  125. Publius Valerius Publicola, a great defender of ancient Rome. Thomas
  126. Jefferson called the Federalist Papers, "...the best commentary on the
  127. principles of government which was ever written", and it is still a good
  128. read.
